Master Cylinder Brake Lines

Are there supposed to be looped brake lines leading from the Master Cylinder and proportioning valve to the brake lines to each wheel?
Is this typical of a decades old replacement of Master Cylinder?

Master cylinder is incorrect, should have bleeder screws Picture shows brake line routing.

The pic Dan provided also shows the metering valve in the right spot. I don't see where it is in your pic . (corrected, thanks Gary)

Austin:  The proportioning valve if used is mounted on the frame rail under the driver.   The parts mounted just under the MC are described in JohnZ's brake article...  go read it.. :)     ie..   hold off valve, differential switch, metering valve etc...

Those aren't proportioning valves. They are distribution blocks. They essentially do nothing but route juice and do not say you get this much in the back and you get this much in the front.
