Correct size T bolts for leaf springs

I have a 69 convertible with 5 leaf springs. I removed them in order to install new ones. The T bolts are a bit worn and are about 1.5" in length. I ordered a set for multi leaf and got ones that are closer to 2". When I look at catalogs they say the 1.5" I have are for mono leaf. I'm fairly sure they are original to the car and fit well.

Can anyone help clear this up?

I believe the T-bolts are the same length for both mono- & multi-leaf springs because the bottom spring plate meets with the welded spring perch on axle tube.
The plate/perch squeeze the pads and spring for fit.
I suggest using the OE bolts you have and slightly coat the threads with anti-seize and enjoy the ride.
Check nut every ten miles(?) until your confident they will remain tight, or are tight.

Original T-bolts are 1.25" and I have not seen a difference between those used for mono leaf vs multi leaf applications.
