That VIN was final assembled on or about June 9. 01A body tag would have been issued about 23 weeks prior. Ace Hardware rivets, wrong colors.

From the ad:
"The SS/RS 396 - 375 HP Camaro Convertible is one of todays premier collectibles."

True-when they are real.

I thought there for a minute it was another 10-10 car, flags waved, then I saw the very pristine, crisp new tag stating it was Garnet Red. For a complete "rotisserie restoration", they missed the date, tag, and color on this one. Love the rivets, almost as good as the #10 sheet metal screws on a local "X77" a couple of years back.

I don't mind the quality of the work and the finished product, but sheeese. Do the homework - pay attention to details.

Steve

Sauron327,

It is the fender not following the header line and taking a dive. More evident on left fenders. I've had to correct this on numerous jobs even when using NOS fenders
. Repro fenders are even worse. So many cars out there have droop that the majority must think it is correct, which it is not.

Re-posted with 'after' pics. Same car, same repro tag.

From the ad:

"This particular example is restored to the highest possible standards and is valued accordingly."

Incorrect interior, aftermarket gauges, aluminum radiator...
