How come no one seems to care unless your car is significant?

That's helpful confirmation. From the data, it's clear that 67 bench seat cars didn't get center belts. But 68 benches did.

I spent about 5 hours updating the report. Ain't html great! Or a great time sink......

If I understand your post correctly, you're saying that in 1968, center seat belt (ie. 3 seat belts) in the front 'bench seat camaros??   Didn't it matter what transmission/shifter was installed?   ie. with a 3-4 speed in the floor, it still had belts for a center front seat passenger?

ps.. man, if we'd known that when we were single, they would have sold lots more of them...  :)

That is why I took the center counsel out and had a nice gal make me color matching pillow to put on the hump so she could sit next to me......

I filmed Dr. Krupp back in the 1990s for a local LA TV show about the 'Solar Systems' and I remember his Camaro! Too bad, we did not get any shots of the car...Thanks for posting the article.
