Yes, they were the common fuels in New Mexico, and I found the Conoco sign in a small town where the original gas station and pole that held the sign is there! Probably from the 50's   I'm always looking for hidden treasures on my road trips.

Very cool ! Thanks for the interesting info. I moved from Wisconsin to New Mexico in '90 , and  of course now I'm going to have to try and find that brand of sign for my collection.
