Attaching heater box seals

First post here...

Replacing the foam seals on the heater box ducting doors, but have been unable to find info on how they are attached to keep them in place. Appreciate any help.

Welcome!  I used contact cement when I redid mine, I cut my own foam out of a sheet since the repro kit was all undersized a bit :(

X2 on the 3M super black...tried contact cement but it did not last more than a couple years. Maybe our desert climate was the culprit, but the 3M hasn't failed so far and its been over 20 years...

Already went ahead with the contact cement, so fingers crossed she holds.  :D

Contact cement is incorrect for this application and profession. Use the 3M Super or any competitor's similar product. Been in the business for decades.
