WILL YOU EVER FIND A BUILD SHEEL IN A 69 CAMARO NORWOOD OR LA IF SO WHERE WAS THE MOST COMON PLACE TO FIND ONE

Vince

My '69 built at Van Nuys was on top the gas tank.

Camaro plants used two: a Body Broadcast Copy [BBC] and a Chassis Broadcast Copy [CBC]. The CBC is most interesting as it has drivetrain codes.

A group of former Norwood employees spoke at a recent MCACN show. Of course someone asked about 'build sheets'. They called them 'sequence sheets' and recalled that 'de-papering' the unit was one of the last tasks on the line. Dealers occasionally found them during new car prep and few were saved.

Norwood assembly received the completed body from Fisher with most of the interior installed. The copies were generated when the body was scheduled for assembly. So, no need to remove seats or trim panels.

 And there was the Fisher UOIT.

'69 Los Angeles cars may have a Chassis Broadcast Copy atop the gas tank, driver side, in front of the axle area.  That's where I found mine.   They tend to be in rough condition and typically require professional document restoration.

Body Broadcast sheets also note the engine using a single character either alpha or numeric.

Nothing in the box indicates base engine
1 = COPO 9560
2 = COPO 9561
G = Z28
