Can anyone tell me what this GM intake manifold was used on, motor wise? The part number is 346249 with a five under the 6 and 2. the date looks like L 8 10.

The 346249 was a cast iron intake used on all Chevrolet 350 and 400 engines from 1975 through 1978. Can you post a picture of the date code? That doesn't seem right.

Thanks Ed, can I send them to you? I'm having problems resizing the pictures on windows 10. There is a 5 cast under the casting number between the 6 and 2.

Sure. My email address is in my signature.

The date could be 01 8 7. I may be reading it upside down. Pictures sent Ed.  Could this be for a Pontiac 400 1978 Trans Am?

I haven't received your email, but I know very little about the Pontiac lines. I don't think Chevy engines were being installed in the other GM divisions until the late 1970's, so probably not?

The 1977 model year was the first year that other GM divisions began using the Chevy small block...
