April built 67 Norwalk car with grey and white trunk spatter paint

My 67 convertible built at Norwalk in April of 67 appears to have grey and white trunk spatter paint, not aqua and black. Is that a possibility because it look original to me? Any responses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
