I assume by the description that maybe Danny still owns it.
All the best on the sale!! What a great car!!

I think he does as I just sent him something for it. Was surprised JerryM stated in his report "correct dip stick is needed for the engine, should have round handle with gray tip."  Hopefully he will add info as it becomes available but good luck Danny!

If I remember, I will ask Jerry about this today.  I think there were two types, and what is on the car now seems correct to me.
Yes Byron I agree and reason for my comment as I've looked at four 68 survivors with the same dipstick and they ranged from Dec. 67 to July 68.  And now Dave just added his 06A survivor and that car is another very complete car. For everyone this type of dipstick that was on Danny's and found on several others.

Actual dipstick on Danny's and another 68Z survivor at MCACN 2015.

Not sure of the circumstances, but I thought a car like Danny's would do a lot better at a Barrett jackson auction or something similar.

Barrett Jackson, attracts many looking for eye candy. Although it didn't  "sell" I had a few very interested buyers call me. Ebay provides great exposure for minimal cost. I'm confident it will sell shortly.

With Barrett-Jackson having a no reserve that's the last place I'd be running it across the floor.

well I have seen many real cars do well at BJ, and with all the docs I thought you would have real buyers there. But I see what you are saying, as far as risk goes.
Plus it bid up to 40k and the reserve wasn't met so I don't know how much Danny's buyer has into it, (Danny is helping him sell it I believe). So maybe he has 45k-55k in it? and needs to get that out of it.

So now I'm confused? Danny sold to Steve, and now Steve is selling? Or Steve is helping Danny? Or?
