Just checking here to make sure I am reading the CRG page correctly:
You could order a 69 SS automatic car, and if you did not opt for the console then it was shift on the column?
I think that is what it is saying here:

http://www.camaros.org/options.shtml

Just wanted to make sure. Also does anyone know the rough percentage of SS automatic cars that are shift on the column?

That's true for any '69 Camaro ordered with an automatic transmission and no console, not just the SS. There was a column auto Z11 project on ebay recently. Many COPOs were column-shifted TH400 including 21 ZL1s.

There is no way to determine how many SS cars were column shift automatics.
Learning more and more about less and less...

great info. I had no idea about the ZL-1 with a column shift as well. Interesting. Thanks William. :)

Not that rare when they were made, but rare now.
Everyone has to have a console....
