wheel well molding bolt finish. any survivors?

Mike if I hadnt looked over the COPO I wouldnt have known any difference. That was a super nice car. Even my mustang buddy admired the paint.

Gonna ask anyway.....what about 06A cars?  Zinc / Phosphate?

Inquiring minds need to know.

My observation is zinc if it has moldings. Phosphate if it doesn't. It's shown in AIM Z21 A1....Joe

Yeah, saw that. 

But I've seen 04A & 06A cars with phosphate ones too.  Supposedly original cars......

My car had the optional wheel lip mouldings with dark phosphate fasteners from the factory (just as JohnZ posted)...

My Canadian docs 06A (June 16) RSZ28 with factory mouldings and dark phosphate serrated washer bolts, I think the head markings are all RBW?. I have owned it since 74.

The black RS/Z 04C survivor had zinc plated with serrated washer, there is a running change in the assembly manual, I believe under Z21.
