A guy in northern Washington State is selling his stash of parts. What do you guys think there worth based on the pictures. I don't need them for a project but if the price is right I might pull the trigger.

$1000 would be a good start. Just glancing at the pics i would think the 2  fenders if clean and straight would be worth around 500, the bucket seats and consoles I would think would cover the rest. IS the hood a repro? The extra fender if nice and grill surround might give you some leeway to up it to $1350 or so. That would still leave you a lot of smaller stuff to make some money or you could trade any of the stuff for parts you do need. Just my 2 cents... :)

Austin I think the hood is a repop, I havn't talked to him yet, a 3rd party sent me the pictures, and I've got his email. Basecoup: The body was rusty and he scraped it for what I understand and they are selling the house and the wife wants the parts gone. I'll make him a offer and see where it goes, it's about a 4 hour drive up.

Hard to say what is all there and what condition the stuff is in.  Can't see the lower part of the fenders.

Hood looks like a Goodmark hood but find out ahead of time before you make an offer.

I would say you are looking at maybe $2K but condition matters a lot.  If the seats can be used as is for a driver, then maybe more than that.

Does he have the cross member from the car?

Can you check the driveshaft for me and see if it has any painted stripes?

Well thats the whole point right? You want to get it for a deal that makes it worth the work of making the drive and loading it all up. He has a little leeway to negotiate starting at 1k, but I wouldn't go as high as 2k and then hope I am able to sell off every little part just to break even. Plus you then don't have to charge top dollar for them when selling, and still do alright on your bottom line. For 2k I would want to see a few more big ticket items to know I can sell them and get my money back right away if necessary. Pl

I may look at it a little differently if Vince said he needed these parts to finish a project he already had. There would be a convenience factor for one stop shopping.

Well guys he turned down 1000 cash. He wants 3K plus he tells me he has a RS conversion kit in the box repop. I'm out, so if anyone wants to take a crack at it, it's on C. L. Seattle.

Smart move Vince.
I think 3k is him saying to his wife "see I am putting it up for sale, nobody wants it". 3k is top dollar for what he has, unless there is some rare or high dollar parts I am not seeing.

Maybe it sits on CL and doesn't sell and he may get back with you and want to negotiate a price. food for thought.

Your in a good position since you don't need the parts, and he may need to clear them out at some point.

Better take a look at what is all there.  His price is not a steal but he is not on the moon either.

Sounds/looks like almost an entire car!   if I were in that area, I'd be heading that way with my truck... and $$..   :)    Someone building a '69 will probably make double that on parts for their own car, and probably sell the unneeded parts for more than his asking price..

You know what if a guy had only a good shell of a rolling 69 Camaro and needed everything, 3k may be a good deal. It would take the right circumstances I think.
I still think it would be hard to turn a profit for 3k if you didn't need the parts for your own car.

$3K is a not bad deal for someone local. A person could make $500-1K from what I see there.  Just my $0.02
