Wondering if anyone has used these mylar chrome adhesive rings to repair the worn chrome trim around an original bezel. And if so, what did you think of them? Do they fit? Do they look natural? Or do they stick out like a sore thumb that you stuck something on there?

Thanks........Dave

I used these from ebay.  They look great; plus they give you 3 total just in case you mess one up.

Not the greatest photos but this is all I have at this point.

Hi Darrell,

Thanks for the reply and the photos. ........Was the fit right on the money? Nothing hanging over the edge.......or falling short of the edge anywhere?

Do you remember who the manufacturer was by any chance?

Thanks......Dave

I did have a slight bulge due to me stretching it when installing.  I simply made a cut with a razor blade and had the overlap happen near the column which is not seen.  The decals are on the money as far as width.  Not sure if you saw it but I supplied a link in my first post.  Here it is again.  You might message them and ask who makes them.

After getting good reports on the chrome rings, both here and over on Team Camaro, I bought a set on Ebay a couple of days ago. They were $8.50 plus $3.50 shipping. The Ebay page showed that the seller had ten sets left before I ordered mine.

Thanks.....Dave

Practice lining them up a time or two before you take the backing off. I put them on top to bottom with a roller to avoid air bubbles and stretching. It takes steady hands...
