Some suggestions for 'resizing an image file size', and retain as much resolution as possible:

1) First use Paint or some other software to 'clip out' just the portion of the image you need to preserve.   that provides a near- linear reduction in image file size for the area you clip out.  Do not reduce the resolution during this step.

2)  Use a product like 'Light Image Resizer' to reduce the file size.   This product will use some intelligent algorithms to reduce the JPG file size while retaining a high degree of the image quality/resolution.   you can run it over and over with different % values until the file size is where you need it to be.  You'll be amazed at how much resolution is retained.

PS.  you can download a free copy of Light Image Resizer for your own use, but you will want to purchase it after you use it awhile. :)

Here it is punched up. However I couldn't get it clear cause I didn't have the original to begin with. If you wanna send me the original, I can work on it, and repost tonight after the car show. Also when shooting reflective material... always shoot at an angle, usually like a 45 degree. That way the light exposure is consistent throughout. And there would be no big flash line thru the middle. Also you can shut your flash off. Then hold a flashlight at an angle until it lights the area nice, then shoot it. Take a look at some of my pictures in my posts, a lot of those are without flash... Danny

Thanks, Danny. I purchased this distributor and it is in route. When I get it I will take a pic. with your advise and post it. Didnt pay much so if it is a re-stamp no big deal.
