Decided to do some research. I only have pics of these plugs from one of my cars. Seeing this makes me wonder about the other cars I have owned. It's just as likely they were all like this one.

Here is the 68 Console multiplex knobs. Malibu and other Chevy multiplex units have them. Can't speak for the 8 track, but pretty sure it's the same knob as the under dash unit. What does the AIM show?
