Tossed out my original ones years ago when I had the car re-painted and liked the look without them and spears. Decided to get new ones recently  (repops) but I thought there was a flat black strip (for lack of a better word) on the trim ? But not sure  Thanks Randy

Would like to get through until the fall and do the proper repair during winter, as I said it is not outside unless we are on a drive which usually would last ten days at a time and if it rains would be cleaned out as needed..more of a pain if luggage is in trunk and gets a little damp..Randy

I realize that some repair will eventually be needed, but looking for a temperay solution if possible. Thanks Randy...Oh by the way it turns 50 the first week of August low vin @266.
