I also have this original 1968 Z/28 raced in Stock, Super Stock, and Modified Production from 1971-1975 out of NJ. This has a set of Stahl adjustable collector headers on it. He brought the car to Stahl and had the headers made up.
I'll get better pictures later. These are the best that I have for now.

Quote from: Jon Mello on July 28, 2012, 05:43:12 AMjon, I have a set of nos stahl headers made in the 80's. Do you know where I can get a set of gaskets for the type of trans am flange shown? Thanks. Jeff
NOS header flanges from Douglass Muffler Mfg as used on the factory supplied Z-28 headers in '67. These are owned by Robert Lodewyk and are the 1.75" round port style.

Quote from: 69Z28-RS on June 02, 2014, 06:29:44 PMI believe he paid a little over 4 million for the futureliner.
He paid way too much for some of those vehicles to make any money.... but I'm sure that was not his goal.. seems he was looking for means to give back to charity... some deserving.. (and maybe some not so deserving ...)
Didn't he pay over 20M for that ugly dang GM bus/van/whatever it was?
Quote from: Mike S on October 22, 2012, 12:12:24 AMfor the whole car. Trim tag and vin are all there.it was stripped in the early 80's and sold at englishtown.
Got 'ya....So you offered 40K for the trim tag or the stripped body?
If we only knew then what they would be worth now....
