Hi, Does any one know if it is normal to take the cowl tag off to paint the car? I have a 1967 that was painted and they took the cowl tag off, do most people do this?

The paint code says body paint E-E
And assembly plant says LOS 4452

The guy selling me the car says the SS is the only one that came with factory mounted dual exhaust.Does anyone know this to be true? Otherwise is this a true RS? Is the RS a nice car? I have always liked the look of the car I just want to make sure I am getting what I pay for.

I need help identifying a 1967 RS/SS. I have not bought it yet, but this is the cowl tag:

First can someone help decode that, but the problem is the person selling me the car says it is an SS, but it does not have the 4P on the cowl tag. He says they did not put the 4P on the early models. He says the SS is the only one that came with duel exhaust with welded on brackets to hold it, so it this true? If anyone could help I would appreciate it!
