Thank you for the warning.   I bet a lot of us hardly ever think about the age of the tires on our cars.

I am guessing that is a rear window defogger?   It looks like what my 1967 Camaro has.

I don't think I've ever seen a tire sticker before that listed two different recommended tire pressures for front and back when the tires were the same size.

Kind of surprising to me that the U.S. government refused GM's request to extend the period 60 days so the cars could be sold in the U.S.

Thank you Bryon for that info.  I had been aware of the strike but didn't know what happened to all the cars that were left stranded.

A beautiful car; it looks like an Italian exotic.

It has always amazed me how stock cars and the Trans-Am cars too could race on banking that steep, like at Daytona.   This photo really shows that banking and how the forces must have been acting on the cars and drivers while on that steep banking.

Finally got around to getting my '67 Camaro out as the weather is nice now, and I don't garage it at my home.   Here are some pics of my dipstick.   It measures 22 inches exactly from the tip to the top of the circular handle.   I did find out that when my dipstick is inserted into the tube like most are (with the circle loop facing away from the engine) it reads a half quart low.   But when I look at the backside of the dipstick it measures to the full mark on the opposite side.   If I insert the dipstick (with the circular loop facing toward the engine) it measures full on the side with the add and full markings.   I think I answered my original question.

Below is a prior CRG discussion on dipsticks:

Thank you.  Very interesting reading.   I think my dipstick is a replacement as there is not a part number anywhere on it.

I just recently noticed that when I change the oil and filter cartridge in my 1967 Camaro SS, after adding 5 quarts the dipstick reads about a half quart low.  Is this normal or do I perhaps not have the correct dipstick for the L48 350?   The owner's manual states that the engine should take 5 quarts when changing the oil and filter, and 4 quarts when just changing the oil.

Does anyone know the reason they stopped production of the SS wheels in late 1968 or so?   If I did know why in the past, I've forgotten.   I've always liked that SS wheel.
