Hi Kurt, ok, thanks for the clarification.

Hi all,Following up on my registry search, I am also looking for the original, factory-installed Muncie 4-speed transmission that belongs to my March 1969 Norwood-built Z/28. I have the original Protect-O-Plate in hand and would love to locate the matching gearbox if it survived. Here are the factory-stamped identifiers for the original unit:Vehicle VIN: 124379N616410Target Transmission Assembly Stamp: V0C05B (or possibly P9C05B)Target Partial VIN Stamp: 19N616410Specs: Muncie M21 Close-Ratio 4-Speed, assembled March 5th.Currently, my car has a factory-correct 3925660 main case installed, but it bears a slightly later Norwood partial VIN stamp (19N633336). If anyone has the transmission stamped for sequence 616410, or if you happen to own car 633336 and want to discuss a swap/trade to get both of our cars closer to numbers-matching status, please reach out! Thanks for checking your garage stashes and inventory racks!
