Looking good. just a heads up.. those cool MT valve covers may not clear the brake booster if its the original GM style booster. Back corner will hit.

Its amazing to me the lengths GM went to and the money spent to promote the Camaro, especially in Europe. For what the projected sales of the car was in Europe, I have to wonder what the profit margin actually was after figuring in all money and time spent promoting vs actual limited number of Camaros sold over there. I guess it proves you have to spend money to make money

Has anyone seen another number stamped next the the "US" on the 69 master cylinder? This particular one was cast on the 147th day. Looks like it reads "55"

Yes sir.. Gardner chambered.
I am guessing you liked the audio clip I sent? Pretty stoked myself. Alot of fiddling and adjusting but I got the tail pipes within 3/4 of an inch of each other. Ill fix that in spring after a few heat cycles.

Does anyone know what the torque value is for the exhaust flange nuts for BB car with stock manifolds? Installing a new system and would like proper value for the stud nuts.

Awesome photos.. sensory overload. That Schmidts beer Camaro.. sponsored by Performance Engineering in Delmont, PA.. Delmont is next town over from me. The owner of that speed shop back in the day; Clarence E. Zahrobsky (Clem as he was known)  just passed away in April 2025 at 90 years old. He was the go to guy for high end race engines. Obit for Clem can be seen here..
