where to look, but it may also be on the top of the transmission. Also check the 12 bolt for the date code and ratio. HERE'S

Don't give up hope just yet. There's a chance your car originally came with an automatic or maybe even the 3 speed transmission. Both of those have the speedometer cable going through the "non-Muncie" hole.
