This is the starter that came off my car but I can't find it in any books. Please decode the date also for me.

Daniel,

Do Ebay search: 1107664 .  There's a ton of them listed.  Most listings say late fifties, early sixties Corvette.  0 B 19 would be February 19, 1960.

Boy do I feel dumb (again). I didn't think about eBay Paul. Thanks. Wa LA it came off my brothers old Vet. Thanks for all the replies. I guess it got mixed in with my Camaro parts in the shop.

FYI the Delco Remy website lets you check any Delco Remy starters, & alternators from the past and list the replacement part numbers over the years.

Here is your part number listing:

That 664 starter (attaches with three horizontal bolts) ONLY works on a '62 or earlier, as it bolts to the front side of the bellhousing, not to the block; those blocks didn't have starter pads, and they all used 14" 168-tooth flywheels. It's worth something to 1957-1960 Corvette and passenger car guys.
