What is the correct finish for the upper control arm shaft?

Known Original survivors are Black, even indications of black paint on the bsgs, but lots of guys make them natural ( cast Blast type colour) 30 % gloss Black is Correct

As Mike has mentioned they were black. JohnZ communicated in the past the control arm, bushings, and dog bone were painted as an assembly.
