My new tank is OER. It's stainless and fit is great.

Quality replacement tanks are Ni-Terne coated steel, not galvanized.

Hey Scott what is Ni-Terne coated steel and does it look like galvanised steel? The Spectra tanks looks stainless. Very shiny. Those are the only after market ones I have seen. I just ordered one from Quanta. I will post a picture.

You can get the Spectra Tank in either Ni-Tern steel coated with nickel and zinc, GM32A.  Or stainless (for Fuel Injected vehicles) GM32AFI.  Price varies alot depending on supplier.

I'm not so sure that the stainless has that same "original" look as the steel ones do.

We laid both tanks side by side for comparison before it was installed. They look real close to "original" if not spot on. As I stated before the fit was great.

If you Google for the tanks there's a ton of picture to look at.
