VINTAGE CERTIFICATION
GM Nationals @ Carlisle

We are pleased to announce our continued commitment to the GM Nationals. Our judging program has participated at the GM Nationals since 1999, and we are excited about this June 24, 25 &26 2011. Carlisle is an iconic venue, which has much to offer participants, spectators and embraces all GM Brands. It also affords our program the ability to judge and certify Camaros, Chevelles and Novas.
We are just now accepting applications for our program and if the first two cars is any indication it should be a great show. How about an ultra low mileage Survivor ZL1 Camaro for Vintage Legend Certification, which is being shown for the first time or a concours restored LS6 Chevelle for Vintage Elite Certification.

We have two distinct programs:

Vintage Legend focuses on the unrestored Camaro, Chevelle and Nova. This program provides status, recognition, provenance and appreciation to unrestored vehicles. The certification team provides each owner with a detailed listing of our findings in a comprehensive report. Our goal is to uncover new information, share it with you and act as a repository for factory standards and processes.

Vintage Elite focuses on the restored Camaro, Chevelle and Nova. This program encourages hobbyist and restorers to use factory processes, finishes and standards when restoring vehicles. Components, finishes and assemblies that deviate from factory standards will be noted as such in a comprehensive certification report.

Our certification teams consist of judges Brett Merryman, Steve Shauger, Chris White, Jeff Dotterer and Brian Henderson who collectively have over 125 years of experience as restorers, historians and collectors. Each team spends three hours examining each vehicle in the following areas; Engine Compartment, Underbody, Exterior, Interior and Trunk. Our standards are based on years of research data which we have collected through our Vintage Legend program, restorations, personal collections and GM documentation.

How do I proceed getting my Car Certified???

Simply email us vintagecert@optimum.net or contact Steve Shauger at 631-514-9765 and we will send you our Mission Statement/ Participation Guidelines. If after reviewing you feel your car meets our criteria, fill out the last page “Pre-Qualification Application” and email or mail it to the address/email provided at the bottom of the application.

Once we receive the application it will be reviewed. If your vehicle qualifies you will be notified and provided a Vintage entry number. The next step is to contact Carlisle via website at: http://www.carsatcarlisle.com/ce/events/gm-nationals/index.asp or call 717-243-7855 and register your vehicle. Be sure to reference your Vintage Pre-Qualification entry number, because you will be unable to register your vehicle in this program without it.

The registration fee includes:

Two entry passes for the show
Pass for Trailer parking
Pass for car being judged.

If you have questions email us at vintagecert@optimum.net or contact Steve Shauger at 631-514-9765 / or Brett Merryman can be reached at 740-676-4920. Our programs are concours level, and thereby requires that your vehicle to be pre-qualified. Space is limited due to the amount of time required to verify and inspect all reference areas, so apply early. We look forward to seeing everyone at the GM Nationals, so stop by the Y building and say hello.

GM Nationals @ Carlisle June 24, 25 & 26 2011

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Vintage Certification is pleased to announce our continued commitment to the GM Nationals. Our judging program has participated at Carlisle since 1999, and we are excited about the upcoming show this June 24, 25 & 26 2011. Carlisle is an iconic venue, which has much to offer participants and spectators. The GM Nationals represents all makes and models. This venue affords our program the ability to judge and certify Camaros, Chevelles, Novas and others.

The examples below represent cars that will be displayed in the Solid Lifter Showroom, hosted by the Super Car Workshop. The Vintage Certification team will also be located in the Solid Lifter Showroom, which is where the certification process will take place. Kudos to Brian H., Joe S. and Frank A. for assembling this stellar group of the rarest of the rare GM muscle. Many of the cars have never been displayed in public, so take advantage, and stop by.

Our Vintage Certification teams consist of judges; Brett Merryman, Steve Shauger, Chris White, Jeff Dotterer and Brian Henderson. We collectively have over 125 years of experience as restorers, historians and collectors. Our team spends three hours examining each vehicle in the following areas; Engine Compartment, Underbody, Exterior, Interior and Trunk. Our standards are based on years of research data which we have collected through our Vintage Legend program, restorations, personal collections and GM documentation.
