replacing radiator
« on: September 08, 2010, 09:13:21 PM »
Going to replace my old radiator with a higher efficiency unit with electric fan(s) when I install Vintage Air air conditioning this winter.  Anyone have recommendations of Be Cool vs Griffin vs ?  My 68 runs a 350 w/330 to 350 HP.  Anyone have opinions on 2 row 1.125 vs 2 row 1.00 cores?

Is your old radiator a 21" 3 core standard transmission? Is it a Harrison? and codes on the side tanks?

Current radiator is manual xmsn, 21" 3 core.  Not an original Harrison.  It's got a tag showing John's Radiators, Chico, Ca. "008071.

Go with a 3 core. That's what the factory used....
