Hi kurt
My car had, when I bought it in 2008, AC and power windows. I don't think that my Th-350 is original the code is almost gone, and I don't even know if Caracas Camaro use TH-350. I check out my AC compressor, no code, no label, how I can be sure that is original?

It's not.  Thats a sanborn (think thats correct) compressor used on much more current cars (mid 90s or so and later).  68 compressor was on the passenger side of the engine.  You alternator should be where that compressor is mounted.

thanks for AC infos. For my paint code (697-123), you told me that you saw another car the same code style, do you remember is name, I'd like to talk to him.
Do Venezuela plant used laquer paint?

Yutivo built camaros in Manila Philippines from 1967-69. They were all Rallysports. They all had 6 cylinder in-lines mated to either a Powerglide or 3 speed Manual transmission. They all had 4 wheel drum brakes and were heater/defroster delete cars. It is rumored that one 1967 came with a special ordered 427 that car is missing so until found if it exists I will stick with all were 6 cylinder cars. Note the 1969 Models all were headrest delete and they all were seatbelt delete. Options like radios could be added and under dash airconditioning.

When I lived there in the 70's-mid 80's no one wanted these cars as they carried a stigma of "local assembled" Now these rare cars are far and few in between. They did not build many and most unfortunately have rotted to junk or were chopped up for scrap. A few made it out of the country to the U.S brought back by U.S Servicemen and others went to Australia and some to Europe.

They were odd ball cars for sure. The ones I saw around Clark Air Base had a V-8 conversion done. Last time I was in the Philippines Dec. 2013 I saw a few around Angeles City just outside of what was Clark Air Base.

It was a 68 that had a 350 in it and later a 427.
I didn't know they were seatbelt delete cars.
