Reminds me of a trip to South Carolina years ago with my parents.  We stayed at a hotel called the Thunderbird.  Behind the hotel was a lot with a bunch of old cars.  There were Demons, Trans Ams, and lots of nice cars that were way nicer than some cars that I have restored.  Anyway. there was a 69 Camaro that was as solid as could be.  There was no rust to speak of.  In the glove box was the protecto plate  and a bunch of paperwork.  It showed that the last time the car had been registered was om 1974.  I asked around and no one knew who owned the cars as I wanted to buy the car.  Anyway, I grabbed the POP and paperwork and still have it to this day.   This was the late 80's or early 90's if I remember.  Those days are gone, or so I thought.   It is cool to still see these around.
