69 Low fuel light application
« on: July 05, 2008, 01:36:22 PM »
Hello folks ~another originality question~

I read somewhere recently that ALL 69 cars with the console gauge option (U17 ?) got the low fuel light in the dash with the reason being that it was too hard to scan the fuel gauge in it's location. Is it true that ALL 69's with console gauges got the low fuel light? I know the lens is there but I'm specifically asking about the module and wiring.

Thanks for sharing the knowledge!

Well...I should have searched FIRST! Looks like Ed already answered my question earlier this year.  ;)

Just a heads up, do not install a bulb in the low fuel module as referenced in that ebay picture. Although it looks like a bulb socket no bulb should be installed. Also that module snaps into a hole on the gauge pod.
