V.I.N. QUESTION?????

i have the original VIN of a family members long gone 69 Z. car was sold in Texas about 1975 or so. is there a way that someone here has a list or where abouts of the Z cars.  let me know if any of you have any of that information. to find this car would be incredible to find. we also have a matching number Z car now, and am wondering if it is part of the known to exist cars out there. someone let me know where to start!! thanks!!

I'd say post the vin #'s and there are some folks here who maintain a database. If it's been discussed here or sold on e-bay ( or internet ) somebody will probably have something on it. You can also google or yahoo the vin and see if there are any hits.

Well, if you were the current owner, I'd say start here:

Since you are not, you can still try a title history in Texas.  But the state's privacy laws and period of record retention are going to make that difficult.
