best seat upholstery
« on: March 14, 2008, 03:37:57 AM »
 Hi all,
I am looking for the most original seatcovers and padding for a standard 1968 (712). Thanks for your comments.
P.S. Whats the best way to remove the melted rubber from the quarters and wheel wells, going faster did not work?

I have used PUI and they are fine.

Are you talking about removing the factory undercoating in the wheel wells??
I used a stiff scraper for some as it was brittle and came off pretty easy. The hard stuff required a heat gun and scraper.
