Ford-No more paper owners manual books.
« on: February 10, 2024, 04:47:06 PM »
As of January 2024, Ford stopped shipping a paper copy of the owners manual with the vehicle. You only get a supplement. Part of my acceptance for vehicles beside verification is the manual.

Hey man, make sure to bring me an owners manual on your next delivery. There isnít one in the glove box.
No can do.
?
Itís now built into the vehicles software.
?
Scroll through the touchscreen.
So if I have to replace a fuse, I have to use the touchscreen to find where it is?
Yep
What if the battery is dead.
Dunno man, I just sell and deliver em.

Acura has been doing that for years. I suspect others also. Our 2020 RDX came with a small Owner's Guide, about all the average person would need to know. We had six months from delivery to request an owners' manual n/c and did. 653 pages; nope haven't needed it.
Learning more and more about less and less...
