Joe, good point on the multiple vendors. All the clamps I have seen (including 2 originals and 2 NOS I have) are screw type. One opening is 1/4" and the other is 5/16". I don't think the B-13230 is coarse enough, hopefully an original will be posted.

The difference is it has bolt you're asking about has no washer & it's 1.710 of thread

Sometimes I wonder even with all the variations of exhaust options, why they kept changing the way they mounted a tail pipe. It’s a tail pipe. Well done Lloyd..looks good.

I think I received a PM from you (but I'm unsure) asking about that?   I tried to reply but I think it didn't work..  so I'm attaching a photo of my disassembled tailpipe hangar (with the screws) so maybe you can estimate the length..  My estimate would be ~ 1-1/2"  in length. \

Screw shows the same for chambered as well in the AIM. Parts book shows a standard screw 1/4 20x5/8. Still looking….

David,  the screw you are referencing (1/4-20 x 5/8)  describes the screw (2 on each side) that hold the hangar bracket to the frame.  They are also 'self threading' screws from the factory.

I thought the screw that Doc was inquiring about was the longer screw holding the pipe clamp bracket together around the pipe...  My photo posted previously shows both of these screws removed from the hangar part.

This is the current aftermarket available part and is probably the screw. I’ve circled the part in green and the others to help narrow. Is this what we’re referencing this or just the ones holding the bracket to the rear frame?
