Has anyone heard of Selman Chevrolet out of Orange California in the late 60s .

Thanks for your help. I brought a 68 Z up to Canada and the POP has that dealership listed. I called them this afternoon but all the old records are gone. Does anyone know if they did much hipo work back in the day.

If you take a deep enough look into those web sites that Paul and I mentioned, you discover that the dealership is still owned and run by the Selman family.  Trey Selman is the manager. (I'm guessing by his name and the fact that the dealership was started in 1952, that he is third generation.)  Don't know who you talked with the other day, but like JohnZ said last year, "Their job is to sell cars."  I've had good luck in emailing the manager(s) of dealerships to get historical information.  (They have the time and the inclination.)  No, dealerships do not still have 60s information, but there is usually someone around who remembers what things were like.  Send them an email with specific questions and mark it to the attention of Trey Selman...
