Just curious on how you like to see the trunk at shows and cruises.

I like the mat but not the shiny mat that OER sells. The factory mat has a dull appearance to it.

Me too. How it's finished depends on the interior. HATE tire cover. Always look cheap.....Joe

Factory Factory Factory all the way. "IF" That's what you like. If not, then paint it purple, could care less. I walk by those cars at shows all the time. Tire covers look cheapo and crappy. I would rather see the back of a Rally wheel then a tire spare cover any day. ... Danny

I like them just like they came from the factory.

I think if you want more participation then give more options.

- how it left the factory (with or without trunk mat depending option)
- with mat regardless original option
- no mat regardless of original option
- Trunk mat with tire cover
- I don't care
- This poll is dumb

Last 2 are jokes so don't take them seriously.

Your options don't provide the best 'options' for most of us here, since this site is for ORIGINAL Camaro enthusiasts (not modified), many of us cannot vote for the options you provided...     If you run such a poll at 'Camaros.net' (which has more modified clients) you will likely get more participation.  Here we are concerned with HOW our camaros came from the factory...

How much splatter paint a Camaro received seemed to vary a bit over time and perhaps between the two plants.  My original splatter paint ran up MOST of the sides of the trunk, but not all the way to the top.

Whether a trunk mat was used in early Camaros was a function of the other options the car had...   And a good reproduction trunk mat doesn't seem available to us, which is why I've taped/repaired my original one...

I know most of us have big issues with repro parts. I have a nicely worn factory but bought the most expensive reproduction I could find. It was horrible at best. It wound up in the trash and the nice used factory mat is back in the trunk.

As for the pole, it could use a few more options.

Trunk mat with Z87, otherwise no.
