Latest seen 1969 Camaro with an early Walnut wood wheel
« on: August 27, 2021, 02:35:10 PM »
Anybody know the latest build date seen with a walnut? My car is a 01b and has a walnut. I don’t think it’s the original wheel. Curious before I buy a rosewood. Thank you!

We don't know the EXACT date, especially since there was probably some overlap where both were used, but the basic time frame for the change from walnut to rosewood was late November, 1968.

Have you read THIS?

I have a local customer who has a one owner with the wheel on the window sticker - Norwood 12B or C with original rosewood.

I hope you got an original and not a reproduction. The last time I looked, the repops were horrible!

Yes, try to stick with 100% original GM unless I absolutely have to. Yes even the walnut ones look nothing alike! Super bad as usual with repop
