Black houndstooth interior?

The other obvious error makes this one easy.

I wonder again how someone can put so much effort and money in restoring a car and make a few so obvious mistakes. Per the pictures a really nice car.

Why would someone get a reproduction tag with a popular color such as Daytona Yellow and then paint it a bland color like Butternut Yellow?

And then one minor thing that drives me nuts with most nice / restored cars is everyone puts a locknut under every shifter ball out there. They spend $40k to restore a car and never think about what the nut is actually used for....

Ha... a collector car auction company contacted me about that car a month or more ago... After I told them the tag was fake they removed the car from their auction.
