Caveat Emptor...interesting but a mess

From the ad:

This Z/28 Camaro is Powered by the Original Z/28 DZ302 Motor that was highly desired for it's high revving motor and racing heritage!

Car was final-assembled on or about July 10,1969. Engine was built December 17, 1968. Not the original engine.

Car is one of very few Z/28s built as a two-tone: Olympic Gold w/Dover White top. But the 'restoration' is a train wreck; more show car than resto.

No reserve so might be a viable project.

I would've left it 2 tone. So many things wrong with that car...Joe

I saw the car as well the other day. May have been a stunner with that color combo, now as you say just a "mess". I have it on my watch list, any original Z with no reserve is fun to watch.

This is from a classic car dealer in NJ https://noreserveclassics.com/  I do not need to go on about doing your homework!

I reminded the seller the information you supplied. Here is his reply...

Hi yes , the ad was supposed to read an original dz302 ,
we have updated the ad explaining even though the engine is correct it in not the born with motor. Thx
