Sad day today
« on: August 08, 2019, 11:48:08 PM »
One of my dad's friends just passed. He had a 67 red ss back when I was younger. Cars in a few old pics I have. Spoke with his son, who is a few years younger. Have not seen in 32 years. I sort of kept an eye on him when we were younger at the drags/shows. Couple times we were roomates, Indy and Canfield I think. I was around 16 or 17 at the time,,,sneaking girls in the room,,and giving him beer, lol.

Anyway, first words out of his mouth was if I still got the Camaro, and all my dad's mech/work buddies: hows the Z coming along? Very sentimental that old ash gold Z is to me.
68 Z/28  born with: 302, drive line, etc..

Sorry to hear that. These things are never easy, but they do remind us of what is truly important. Our condolences to you, your dad, and the family.
