well the axle casting date is november 22, 1968.  The date on your fisher body tag, 11D, is the 4th week in november.  That puts them close and the axle is before the body.  Id say as long as your vin ends in around 20000 the numbers side of things looks good.  but i looked back through the model ID pages and the only 327 listed says export on it.  Was the 327 not offered in 69?

With the axle date of Dec 7 (casting date is not relevant to this question), it's too late for that car. Really close, but not close enough. :)
What's the VIN and the engine and trans codes?

There's also likely to be a broadcast sheet on top of the gas tank........

Thanks!

No, this is an early car. Nov of 68. Still had another month left of 327 production.
Yup, FL is the correct code.

Pretty unusual to find the broadcast sheet inside the car. Congrats!

Thanks!

That's not your build sheet.  The body number on the build sheet looks to be 172050, your trim tag says 172093.  It probably belongs to a car made at the same time as yours, or perhaps was attached to an interior peice destined for that car that ended up in yours.

Can you read the VIN number in the third boxon the first row?  Looks like it ends in 354, is that your VIN number?

Still have a crappy camera  ;)(at least looking at that image on my monitor).  I take it the number on the build sheet really is 172093 and does match your cowl tag.
