Caveat Emptor...altered/swapped tag

That VIN was final-assembled on or about May 27, 1969. Car has a 12A body tag, 1st week December, 1968. One or both tags are not original to the car.

Trim tag looks like it's been on there a LONG time. Guess they could have cut the firewall out? If they changed the serial number that could be big trouble.

That tag has definitely been reattached. The question is why would somebody change out the tag to such a low option non popular color tag. The only reason I can think is the original tag went missing when it was removed to paint the firewall and any old replacement they could find was attached.

That front right fender looks to be a late 80's replacement from GM. By the time they stopped selling them, the fit was terrible. Look how poor it fits around the grill.
