Car For Sale
« on: July 16, 2018, 12:52:40 AM »
Had a chance to look over a car for sale today at a car show. Wanted to see if I could get some opinions on value. I didn't have my camera with me and my flip phone sucks. Need to upgrade.
It is a 1967 Camaro Red in color. LOS car 327 210 HP base coupe with no options really to speak of... Motor and trans never touched, still has dust layer under the hood. 2 speed on the column. Has Owner protection warranty booklet with POP. Second owner purchased the car 4 or 5 years ago out of CA. The paint is spectacular with the double white pinstripe on the sides front to back. It is beginning to get a little tired in some places, but you have to look for it. It has not been polished and shows very well with no rot or damage I could see. Always garaged by en elderly couple who purchased it new and by the second owner. Interior is perfect or very close to it in black standard. Radio does not work. Antenna is in the right rear and looks like it was added? And not GM. Someone added a handle pull above the glove box and two small ones on the doors. Besides that the interior really looks great. Trunk is also in very nice condition with original jack sticker. No Posi sticker. Spare and jack are there. Glove box is lighted and has a very nice tire sticker on door. Seems to run good. Second owner never drives it, says he hasn't even changed the oil since he's owned it. Never wrecked as far as I can see. Quarters are factory stamped. Didn't see if the fenders had markings. It really is ALL there with original smog complete, coil, carb, everything but the water pump has been replaced. He thinks he still has the original. Owner is very cool and I have known him over the years through the car show circuit. Car would need a complete service front to back, hoses, fluids, tune-up, rear axle oil, trans service etc. etc. Brakes have been replaced. Cause the car sat for years in the original owners garage in Castro Valley, CA, and they got stuck.
NOW, the BIGGEST bonus of all, and really the only reason why I am looking at it is... The mileage is 14,000!!   Wish it was an RS, 4-speed, 295 HP convertible :D I may call him and go take a few pictures. With that said, and the info above. What is the current market value if ya had to guess?.. Danny

5 or 6 lines down to the middle/right = Interior is perfect or very close to it in black standard ;)  I am guessing what PG stands for... power glide? If so, yes it is a "slip & slide" power Glide. I am intrigued by this car. I will try to get pictures in the coming days. I have "right of first refusal" on this car. So I need to kick it into gear if I want it.  Danny

Well then it doesn't matter what anyone else says. Don't just talk about it.  If you want it buy it before your right of first refusal is gone.

yes i see them from time to time. last year there was plain jane 69 6 cylinder for just under 12k, and I found my neighbor that 68 RS convertible for 14.5.
They made a ton of camaros, you just have to look.
Again without pics, this topic is kinda worthless....
