This is the current hose that all the repo houses sell. Does yours look like this Bill?
Thanks.

Doc, yes you are correct as that is what I see advertised often but it is not correct and Legends judging for example will deduct as not being correct. I would suggest you might be better off in just putting on a piece of black gas hose with no writing.

I wonder if the markings varied based on the supplying vendor.
In this thread, my reply #9 shows the hose (04B LOS L35) that has been on the car since I bought it in 1980.

The car has the original fuel pump so I believe this hose (SAE 100R6) to be original too.

Here's mine, from my 03D Z11. Kinda faint, dated 11/28/8. Not ribbed, but "textured" with the reinforcing plys noticeable -

James - yours is pristine compared to mine. Amazing construction (from the U.S. of A !) to last this long.

Thanks Steve, do your letters and numbers measure roughly 3/16"?
This hose is from line to pump?
Anyone else have their original hoses?
Thanks, Doc.

Doc,

Yes, this is the frame line to pump hose, The "GM" seems a little larger than the balance of the markings, measures almost .250", the rest are right at 3/16" best I can scale them. The square is about the same as the GM logo -

I've noticed the reproductions have several additional markings that the original don't have. I replaced mine with Goodyear fuel lines (but I don't see concours judging in my Z11's future.

This is what Jeff has.

Mine is generally what the Midyear Corvette guys wanted.  I just produced what an NCRS guy sent me a picture of.
I can make anything, so when we all figure out what the Camaro used - -just show me.  I would only take me a week to duplicate.
