20 Years of CRG
« on: August 04, 2017, 10:18:24 AM »
Noticed the '20 years of CRG' image on the home page, with the anniversary coming up in September. I would like to thank the founders, core members, site admin/mods, contributors and members, past and present, for both this site's very existence in the first place, and it's ongoing presence. I find this site invaluable in my research and general love of all things Camaro, and check in most days to keep informed. Most of you feel like old friends, I feel like I know you although we've never met.
Profound 'Thanks', and keep up the great work, one and all!
Tim in Australia.

I want to second Tim's Thanks and Endorsement for the CRG, and it's founders, and the people who keep it going.  I think I found this site around 8 or 9 yrs ago, and checking in on CRG is one of the things I look forward to each day...

I must say, I am in that same camp. Tim so eloquently expressed my same sentiments. A big, BIG, thanks to all who make this the greatest resource for Camaros (1st Gen.) and a great resource for finding good friends and developing life long friendships.

Found this site years ago as a link on Jerry M's site. Was looking for production numbers of Ashgold 68 Z's, and how many 68 Z's were still accounted for. Only became active on it a few years ago. This is my only social media site, lol. Don't do Facebook. BTY, here is were I discovered the numbers on the distributor verifying it came off the Camaro. Honestly I thought it came out of a 64 Impala I owned in the late 80's, and got mixed in with parts.

I agree with Jano, this is my social media site.
To my wifes chagrin, I can be social, as long as the conversation involves classic vehicles.

She doesn't understand how I can take the time to post a comment on here, but not hang out with the husbands of her friends.... >:(

I don't golf, don't really drink much, and I don't do online or Xbox gaming, so the vintage vehicle thing is "my vice".

I get labeled as anti-social by non car people often, but doesn't bother me.

Congrats on 20 years CRG.. :)

I can't think of more to say as you guys have expressed yourselves with my exact same sentiments.  I look forward to coming to the CRG site every day, learning more about first gen Camaros, and just interacting with a great bunch of guys.  Thank you all.

I don't post much but I saw this on the home page, and WOW!  I can't believe I'm that old!  I've been looking at this site since '99!  A special thanks for the education...

Yes we all owe a big thank you to the founding members. If you have never read the first few paragraphs at this link, it is worth your time. :)
