69 Z certified by Steve and Jerry
« on: July 19, 2017, 05:30:01 PM »
Saw this car on ebay, it looks nice. Unfortunately no engine pics, or tag pics. Looks like it may have original paint?

Steve do you remember this car by chance?

There are engine pics, scroll down to the main portion of the ad, and under the picture on the left you'll see a button labelled "View All Images".
Click that, and another page opens up with more pictures.

Yes this was Vintage Certified and achieved our Legend award. This was a very un-fluffed and very original to achieve Legend in our program. If someone is truly interested and needs further information you can contact me.

So looking over more of the pics on their website, the car looks to be very well preserved. Other than possibly the exhaust, any ideas of any other pieces that have been replaced over the years?

The (asking)price does not surprise me. It seems a CRG member purchased a Rally Green 69 Z about a year ago, and the asking price was the same. I am guessing it sold pretty close to that price. I am sure Jerry and Steve inspecting the car will only help bolster the sale on this one.

(I am envious of Steve, he gets to see this caliber of cars up close and personal at least once a year) :)

I am SO happy this car resurfaced... it was on ebay maybe 8 years ago and I saved some photos from that time...
I had been asking around about the car but had feared it was restored, the bottom of the car had/has heavy dealer undercoating on it.

Great pictures James, I particularly like the way the driver's side stripe finishes up on the hood side of the cowl vent panel.

The photos were from the EBAY listing... I cannot take credit...

HOWEVER I am still upset I didn't pull the trigger on this one... it is a really nice car...
