Frank,

The 1108G is the date the axle was assembled and the plant that did it. In this cse, your axle was assembled on November 8th, 1967 at the Detroit Gear and Axle Plant (1st shift).

The 133 1 2 are option codes and they're in a specific order. Can you post a picture of the tag so we can take a look at it? That's the easiest way to decypher them.

Yes, the "C" would be a Carter carburetor and the "N" is is for the Build Date. November, 1967 in your case.

Frank,

Here you go:

1 - N40 Power Steering
3 - Unverified at this time, but it appears it's either B37 Color-Keyed Front and Rear Floor Mats, or B93 Door Edge Guards
3 - U63 AM Push Button Radio
space
1 - C60 Air Conditioning
space
2 - A67 Folding Rear Seat

Do you have these on the car?

The J330 is the Los Angeles Fisher Body plant internal scheduling sequence. Your car was the 330th car started on the J day (10th production day) of November, 1967. Your car was probably started on or around Thursday, the 14th of November, late in the day.

Hi Ed,

Yes I have P/S and A/C  and fold down seat.
The car did have a radio but was updated with a custom autosound unit  so i will find a replacement for it.
Do not know on the mats or edge guards but based on the dealer installed door guards I removed(that were rivited on like they did in that era) it probably was the edge guards

thanks for the reasearch-I hope i can help others here also.

This place is great!

Just a question on the unused code. Does your Camaro have the fiber optic or the light monitoring system (U46) on the fenders? I also have the same code on my POP but do not have the door molding or floor mats, granted the floor mats could have been trashed years ago. Could this code could be for punching the holes in the fenders, as they were punched not cut out? As floor mats and door molding were very common and the 3 code is very rare on the POP maybe this is what it was for.  Thank you for the responce.
