Well I thought I was in the know on 69 camaros?
Just how much would this car be worth in the same condition but in the correct colors?

And with the "350" emblems in the correct place. ;)

Hard to answer. Even thought there were only 450-500 produced (not 300 as the seller states), they're very rare, but for some reason they're not on anyone's collectible list! The current price of $30k is actually kind of high for one that doesn't have the original engine and a lot of issues that need to be resolved. A car like that, even with the correct paint probably wouldn't go for too much more.

Not to offend any Z10 owners, but I think it's because there's nothing really special about them other than the paint. They're not pace cars, just regional promotions.

Well I think the special paint, they were all SS/RS, they all received the ZL-2 hood and spoilers is pretty neat. If I ran across one for sale, it would interest me. Would I pay more for it than a regular RS/SS car, probably not. I guess in my opinion a numbers matching RS/SS in driver condition would be a 25-35k. (more for 4 speed, or BB), so that this car is already at 30k and reserve is not met, is a bit surprising to me

I agree - they are guaranteed RS/SS cars. They seem to pull a small premium, normally about 10-20%.

As the second owner of a Z10, I rarely have anyone that wants to know about my car, know anything about Z10's.  Yenko's, Z11's, COPO's get plenty of press but not Z10's.  Perhaps the values would go up if others outside the CRG new anything about them.   If rarity is your thing, not many other 69's can lay claim to being much rarer, more desirable absolutely.  So, if anyone has a 68 Z/28 Lemans Blue, white stripe, blue interior that wants to talk swap, I might listen.  lol

Back in the days of the Camaro business, the company ZL1 was on display in the building. Someone asked me why we didn't paint the engine.

It's not just Z10s.

I think $30 is all the money. All traces of being a Z10 have been obliterated. Engine missing. Holes in the fenders. I think Z10's are cool but rare doesn't always equal valuable. Just a rough, day 2, hot rod.

How does a Z10 differ from another RS/SS aside from the paint color combo?
