Thanks to the folks submitting Camaro photos/articles..
« on: April 02, 2017, 04:29:05 AM »
Just a short note to thank the people who submit to the Monthly Camaro Features..  It's not just Bryon and Steve who appreciate the photos and articles (we all do!).   I especially like the submissions which include more than a single photo and a 'story' about the acquisition/work on the car by the owner..   to wit the article submitted by Bill Foos this month on his '69 Z28..  a great looking Z28 in an uncommon color...  I love it... :)

Agreed.  Very cool and hopefully more people will continue to keep this thing going.

Thanks Gary. I just told someone Friday without this site I would not have known my OCD was as bad as it is. And there are others like me!

The original owner of my car is alive but I have never spoken to him. There was a divorce involved after he gave the car away. it seems to be a sore subject with some of the family members. I have not pushed it but the daughter has talked to him once in a while and gets some information for me. Shes been real nice on filling me in on some of the story. Maybe someday I take the car over in their area which is a three hour drive for me. There are some members in that area and it would be fun too all get together and go to a cruise in some place

Hey Congrats on the write up Bill.
You and your car deserve it, your 69 came out really nice.
What area are you referring to that is 3 hours away?

The Feature Car writeups take some work, but are well worth it in my mind. Steve (and maybe Kurt) had the idea originally. I will admit I wasn't crazy about it prior to when we started posting the writeups. But I did change my mind. :)

Having good clear photos of multiple angles, at about 1024 x 768 resolution helps. And submit as much information as you can about the car.  I can always trim it down if needed.
